As I love networking so much, I'm keen to ramp up my efforts over the coming months. My next target is the upcoming EGX event which not only looks like it will be massive fun, but will also provide a ton of industry representation giving advice on how to develop a career in game development.
In preparation, I took to Photoshop to design my second ever business card. My first batch were a bit of a disaster when in my haste to get something made I forgot to put my email address on them!
I wanted to convey my brand, my sense of fun, creativity and love of my craft at one glance. Easy right? :)
So here is the big unveiling! Drum roll please...
Here is the front:
My classic logo with my classic colours!
Funny story about the logo: Joe White who has done a lot of design work for me in the past was so confident that I would ask him to design a Wob Wob Rob logo for me that when I asked him for a design he already designed one for me!
When I go to print I might add some UV Spot to make the colours really pop under the bright lights of EGX!
And now, the back..
Initially I used this pixelled font as a guide, but once I matched the colours up I actually quite liked the overall effect and decided to keep it. I hope the overall effect is functional, slick, and creative - just like my my music!
If you decide to work with me, you'll no doubt pick up one of these bad boys in due course! Here's to future meetings and bright wallets!
